Peninsula Pet Pantry

We are fortunate to have the Peninsula Pet Pantry which serves people living in Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, Poquoson, Williamsburg, James City County, and  other selected areas of the Middle Peninsula. This organization was founded by a group of animal lovers in Yorktown and provides  temporary pet food, and pet supply assistance to pet owners facing financial hardship on the Virginia Peninsula. Their  ultimate goal is to reduce the rapidly increasing rate of animal surrenders to local shelters and humane societies  because of financial difficulties experienced by pet owners. Their current goals include food assistance, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter referrals, and animal welfare assistance and referrals. 

Some items on their wish list includes dry dog and cat food, can dog and cat food, dog and cat treats, flea and tick treatments, and toys. In Williamsburg, we have the following food donation sites:
